My name is Audrey. I am from the Verona area (half hour east of Syracuse), but have been living in the Binghamton area for the past two years. I graduated from Oneonta with my Bachelors in Biology. I chose this class as my elective course because I am quite uncomfortable when it comes to technology. When I have time for fun I love to play tennis and simply hang out and relax with my friends!

My name is Gretchen Marion and I am majoring in childhood education. I am originally from Trumansburg, New York, but currently live in Cortland where I am working on my Masters degree. During the week days, I am substituting in the Cortland, Groton, and Homer School District. My strong point is that I am very creative in my work. I like to try new things in order to keep the audiences attention when I am teaching. One of my weak points that I have been working on is that I tend to procrastinate. This has caused me some trouble in the past; however, I am definitely getting better at not leaving my work to do until the last minute!

My name is Jess Latta and I am a Childhood Education major from Cincinnatus, New York. I have worked at Cincinnatus Central School District (UPK-12) for the past six years and also for McGraw Elementary School as a substitute teacher. I have also completed three long term substitute positions since the completion of my student teaching in the Spring of 2006 in the grade levels of: 5th/6th Grade ELA, UPK, and 1st Grade.
My husband, Jim, and I began a small family in June of 2005. We have a three year old son, Tucker James, who will begin Nursery School this year because he is finally out of the diaper stage!!! We're so happy and relieved! We thought that for sure, he would be wearing them until his eighteenth birthday! We also have a fourteen month old daughter, Kaedance Mae, who is quite a character already and keeps us on our toes every minute. Our pets complete our family. Our orange tiger cat, Rev, is almost six years old and still as wild and crazy as he was when he was a kitten. Jasper is our chocolate lab who is 2 years old and Duramax, AKA "Max" is our yellow lab who is eight months old. Both are hyperactive males but are wonderful and loyal boys. They love their kids!
I am a very creative and outgoing young woman. Also, I am very dedicated, full of desire, and an extremely determined individual. I feel that teaching is my strong point. It comes very naturally to me. Various subject matters are relatively easy for me to teach to any grade level or to certain ability level student(s). My weakest point is the subject of Math beyond Course II. I do not have much confidence within this subject matter because it does not come easily to me and I have to work really hard at it to be successful. Therefore, it easily becomes my major weakness.

Hi everyone! My name is Lori and I live in Freeville. I am currently taking three grad courses while working for Tompkins County Highway Department as well as subbing for a few local schools (Dryden, Groton, TST BOCES). I enjoy watching sports. I love the Yankees, in particular, Jorge Posada.

I also love playing volleyball. I am super excited about about Misty May-Trenor and Kerri Walsh's gold medal repeat in the Beijing Olympics as well as the Men's indoor showing.

I actually had a friend of mine compete in the olympics in the Quad Sculls in Rowing. She placed 5th overall.

to continue my last comment...I come from a large family and I am currently living at home. I cannot wait until i am done with school, at this point I am so burnt out on going to classes, I cannot even begin to explain it. Driving here every nite has already been annoying and Ive only done it a few times. I have work and class all day (7am-930pm) on tuesdays so right about now I want to be done with this! I also tend to procrastinate, but ive never failed a class and I dont intend on starting now.

Hello everyone, I'm Alison. I am originally from a very small town called Oxbow, NY but have recently moved to Auburn, NY. I did my undergrad work in Childhood Education (1-6) at SUNY Potsdam. I am taking 4 graduate classes this semester at Cortland. Although I missed my first 2 classes on Tuesday (thought they were on Thursdays), I am beginning to get use to the school and my new home!
